Hot Off the Grill: Toughening DUI Penalties? Maybe…..Maybe Not

On Tuesday, Governor Inslee and a bi-partisan group of House and Senate members unveiled a lengthy, complicated set of bills to increase penalties for driving under the influence of either alcohol or marijuana. The effort is in reaction to the two recent, horrible, fatality accidents in Seattle that took the lives of innocent citizens. Both accidents involved repeat DUI offender’s at the wheel of automobiles.
